The Alevín Villa de Peguera Solidarity Tournament celebrates its tenth edition this year, which will be held on September 16 and 17 at the Peguera Municipal Soccer Field.
It is an 8-a-side football tournament in the juvenile category. The event has established itself as one of the most important grassroots football competitions in the Balearic Islands, thanks to three essential aspects:
1.- The presence of some of the most important international and national quarries in each edition
2.- Its solidarity side. The tournament serves to help different charitable causes related to childhood and the environment.
3.- Careful organization that takes care of the event in detail. It manages to transmit the values that characterize the sport (effort, solidarity, dedication)
4.- Environment: the tournament takes place in Peguera, a privileged area of Mallorca, where we are greeted by a spectacular setting of the coast (beach, coves) and mountains, and a very complete range of services, leisure, culture and gastronomy. Ideal destination to compete and enjoy vacations.
In sports, the format of previous years is maintained. A total of 16 teams will play the qualifying phase in 4 groups of 4 teams with a single round system. The second phase will be eliminatory and the first two classified from each group for the Champions Tournament will qualify for the finals. The third and fourth of each group for the UEFA Tournament. The crosses will be determined by the classification obtained during the first phase.
All the matches in the final will be played according to the cup system (direct elimination) and will be decided in the event of a tie without extra time, and by penalties.
