Nordic Walking is an activity that consists of walking with the impulse of sticks. It is very easy to learn, although at the beginning it needs the personalised attention of a good instructor to learn and assimilate the technique. It shares the concepts of nature, wellbeing, physical activity and health, ensuring good physical and mental results.
The activity is free but with limited places, and is ideal for any age and level. If you don’t have sticks, we’ll lend you some!
We will start the route in front of the Calvià Health Centre. We will set off towards ‘calle Son Mir’ at 6pm. We will continue along ‘calle de Mofares’ and it will take us to the Melani Costa sports centre. We will turn around along the ‘carretera vieja de Es Capdellà’. We will then take the ‘Camino de Son Pillo’ and arrive at the Town Hall via ‘calle de Son Rei’. We will walk through some streets in the centre, pass by the church square and return to the Health Centre along ‘calle de Jaume III’. The duration of the walk is approximately two hours.
